These tanks are used in various areas, primarily in greenhouse systems; including clean water storage, rainwater harvesting, fertilizer solution preparation, and heat storage.
Greenhouse Buffer Tank Systems
Buffer tanks, commonly used in greenhouse systems, work integrated with heat storage and CO2 fertilization systems to increase production efficiency. Especially in areas with insufficient light, the heating boiler operates during the daytime to heat the water inside the tank and simultaneously directs CO2 from the chimney into the greenhouse. This system controls the internal greenhouse temperature at night by using the stored hot water. Thus, CO2 enrichment and thermal balance are achieved simultaneously.
CO2 Enrichment Systems
Plants require high levels of CO2 for photosynthesis, especially during daylight hours. Increasing CO2 levels in the greenhouse environment to 800-1500 ppm can improve plant growth by 50-200%. Thermal Insulation Systems
Insulation materials used in buffer tanks:

- Rock Wool: Ideal for fire insulation, usable up to 750°C.
- Rubber Foam: Excellent for cold lines, closed-cell structure with maximum vapor barrier.
